China’s official travel agency has announced it will launch an online portal to help travellers book holidays abroad from China.
The portal, which will launch in the coming weeks, will allow travellers to check travel plans and make reservations.
The company said the new portal would allow travellers and expats to find out more about China and other destinations and book their next holiday package.
The launch comes as China is the world’s biggest exporter of luxury goods.
Travel agents, travel websites and airlines have long used China to book flights to other countries, but the Chinese government has taken steps to stop the practice, citing the country’s restrictive immigration policies and the impact on local businesses.
The government has also said it will crack down on online travel in the country, including restrictions on websites, social media and travel agents.
The Chinese Government said it would launch an official travel portal in the next six months to help overseas travellers book and book holidays in China.

The China National Tourism Administration said last month that travel agents and websites should be allowed to offer online travel, and should have a similar online booking process.
The agency said the portal would enable travellers and visitors to find travel packages and make travel plans, including holiday packages.
Travel agents have long relied on China to help them book flights, but it has been difficult to reach many travellers, including those from South Korea, India and other countries.
Last year, the US banned most online travel to China from April to October due to its stringent immigration restrictions.
China has been the world champion of international tourism, and the country has the third-highest number of international visitors per capita in the world after the US and India.
The country has become the world leader in online shopping, with China accounting for more than half of the global online shopping market.
