The Irish Examiner reports that Gardens Festival, a five-day festival in the south west of the country, has been postponed due to “health and safety issues” as a precaution.
The festival is set to run from June 23 to 25.
The festival, which attracts thousands of people, will feature live music, theatre, craft stalls and craft workshops.
The organisers of the festival say the festival has not been able to secure the necessary funds to make the festival safe and sustainable.
The Gardens have been running the festival since 2015, and has a history of running successful events that attract thousands of visitors.
