By Angelo AmarettoThe future is looking bright for Juventus, with new faces at the top of the squad and a number of exciting young players to look forward to.
The Bianconeros are set to welcome former Manchester United defender Marquinhos back to Turin after a successful loan spell in 2017.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer and will join Juventus on a free transfer after the season.
In the meantime, Juventus will look to bring in another top-class talent for the first time since the Giallorossi sacked their coach Antonio Conte last summer.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have identified the next generation as a huge target, and it is the young Italian who will be the main attraction.
The Italian coach, who has led Juventus to the Serie A title twice in a row, spoke about the new arrival, saying: “We know that he is a top player and we know that Juventus will make a big difference in his future.”
The club’s sporting director, Andrea Agnelli, will also be looking to bring another young talent to the club, as he has brought in a number in the transfer market.
Agnelli has made it clear that he wants the club to have a stronger squad, and that means bolstering their ranks in other areas.
He added: “There is always room for improvement, but we need to find the best players and develop them.
This is the priority for the club.
We will do everything possible to develop the best team.”
This is the first year that Juventus have had an Italian captain for the national team.
Andrea Agazzi will be in charge for the team’s opening friendly match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 12.
The Giallerini will also have the opportunity to play in a friendly against Germany in September.
The two games are scheduled to take place at the Stadio Olimpico, as well as at the San Siro.
