Raffles, the popular Australian lottery where you can win a lot of money in one big ticket, is about to come to the US.
It is being phased out.
The Raffles website, which is hosted on Google’s server, will be gone.
Its domain name, raffles.com, will also be deleted.
But some US customers are still able to enter Raffles.
You’ll be able to win tickets on the website via an online form.
Those who do not have an online account can still purchase tickets on-line.
Raffles, which was launched in Australia in the late 1990s and has been in the US since 2001, allows users to buy up to two tickets per person for $100.
In theory, you could win up to $20,000 in one ticket, with the rest going to a raffle prize.
But the site is now being phased-out.
The Australian Government has said that Raffles will go out of business in 2018, and Australian authorities say they are investigating how it was hacked.
The raffles website will remain online, but US users can no longer buy tickets via an internet form.
Raffles officials say the raffle tickets will be sent to US customers through the mail.
